Marking on extruded construction profile

Macsa laser equipment is used to encode and mark products of a wide variety of materials, including paper, cardboard, plastics (PET, PVC, HDPE), glass, metals and wood. The messages and graphics that are achieved are of high quality, at a minimum operating cost and at high speeds.
Application News regularly provides a sample of products that are encoded and labelled with Macsa lasers, every day and worldwide.
Years ago, double glazed windows used plastic spacer bars to separate the two panes of glass. Improvements in the materials used to manufacture the frames have made it possible to improve the insulation quality, as well as to use new, more sustainable materials, which must also be identified in order to guarantee the internal traceability of the product.

In this particular application, we have carried out laser marking on plastic in three different colors: brown, white and black. Using the same fiber laser, AB-F Series and a double outlined and filled typface, we achieved high contrast and legibility in all colors.
This time the marking was done dynamically, at 20m/min.
