SPA2 F Pulsed delivers fiber laser coding for metal cans and suitable metal packaging applications. It is designed for production lines that require clear, permanent variable data at high speed, including beverage, food, personal care and other packaged-goods applications.
The pulsed fiber laser creates the code directly on the packaging surface without physical contact. The final result depends on the metal type, coating, can geometry, code size, required contrast and line conditions.
SPA2 F Pulsed is suitable for applications that require batch codes, dates, references and traceability information on cans moving at production speed.
Depending on the laser configuration, code content, can geometry and line conditions, the system can code up to 172,000 cans per hour. Each application should be validated to confirm the required code quality and output.

The XQS high-precision marking head supports clear, legible codes on curved can surfaces. It can be configured according to the working distance, marking area and specific application requirements.

The pulsed fiber laser creates the code directly on the appropriate metal surface. No ink or thermal-transfer ribbon is transferred during coding, which can simplify consumable handling on the line.
SPA2 F Pulsed integrates Macsa id’s DUO dual-processor technology to manage variable information at high speed. The system is designed to maintain code quality while processing changing dates, batch numbers, references and other production data.
It can be integrated into automated production lines using TCP/IP communication. Profinet and OPC-UA can be specified when required by the automation architecture.
SPA2 F Pulsed is available in power options from 10 W to 200 W. The right configuration depends on the packaging material, code content, line speed and desired marking result.
